Spider uses two decks (104 cards) dealt into ten columns. At the start, 54 cards fill the tableau (some columns get six cards, others five); each column’s top card is face-up. The Deal pile sits at the top-left; completed runs collect at the top next to it. Choose difficulty before you play: 1 suit, 2 suits, or 4 suits.
When you move cards off a face-down card, it flips face-up automatically—exposing hidden cards early is a key tactic.
When every column has at least one card, click the Deal pile (top-left) to deal one card onto each column. You cannot deal while any column is empty—fill empties first. Empty columns are also why the rule exists: a deal would strand you with nowhere useful to park cards.
